The Uncreated race launched an attack on the Shi’ar, due to the hatred of all species that follow a religion.
They were subsequently tricked into a mass suicide by the Starjammers. Starjammers (1st series) #1-4 One Uncreated, nicknamed “Godkiller”, survived and was subsequently arrested by the Shi’ar. Xenith became disillusioned with the Shi’ar, and her cousin Gladiator in particular, for an unknown reason, and was arrested for an unspecified crime. Pn’zo was arrested robbing a Shi’ar bank. These criminals, along with a mad Hodinn, were locked away in the underwater prison on Kr’kn.ChronologyVulcan, the new Shi’ar Emperor, was struggling with constant attacks by rebels, lead by Lilandra Neramani and her Starjammers. Xenith, Zzxz, Pn’zo, “Godkiller” and the Hodinn were all visited in the Kr’kn prison by Vulcan and offered a place in his new elite Praetorian Guard to hunt down the Starjammers.
They all accepted, though Godkiller killed several guards during the process. X-Men: Kingbreaker #2The symbiote Zzxz was supplied with a Shi’ar host and the group were released to hunt down the Starjammers. They promptly tracked the group to the neutral Clench worlds and attacked. The group fared well against the Starjammers, until the Hodinn went mad and unleashed his power, destroying the planet. The Starjammers and the Praetorians both managed to escape, however. X-Men: Kingbreaker #2The Hodinn was collected from space by a Shi’ar vessel, on Vulcan’s orders.

Meanwhile Gladiator of the Imperial Guard was shocked to see Xenith out of prison and attacked his cousin on instinct, until Empress Deathbird stopped him. Vulcan declared the Praetorians would be his new frontline in the Shi’ar Empire’s great expansion. X-Men: Kingbreaker #4 In Between.
War broke out between the Shi’ar and the Kree, who were lead by the Inhumans of Earth. The Praetorians served as Vulcan’s “wetworks” team, completing the dirty missions the Imperial Guard couldn’t do.Chronology ContinuedWhen the Nova Corps tried to stop the illegal invasion of Nil-Rast by the Shi’ar, hundreds of Nova were captured by Gladiator and his Imperial Guard. Vulcan sent the Praetorians to take over the mission and Gladiator handed his prisoners over to Xenith and departed.
As soon as the Guard left, the Praetorians executed all their prisonsers. Nova (4th series) #24The Praetorians next went to Kree-Lar, capital of the Ceded Territories ruled by regents of the Negative Zone, where Xenith attempted to assassinate Lord Ravenous. She was interrupted by Nova corpsman Robbie Rider, who wanted to arrest her for murdering the Nova prisoners. He could do little against a Strontian, though, even with the power of the Nova Force. Rider pinned Xenith down with gravimetrics, hoping that backup would soon arrive. Nova (4th series) #26Nova backup arrived but was blocked by Blastaar and his Negative Zone forces, who were allied with the Praetorians.
While Blastaar agreed to allow the Novas time to search for their comrade, he also allowed the other Praetorians (Pn'zo, Godkiller and Zzxz) time to intercept them. The Novas and the Praetorians fought and the Novas systematically took them down. The Uncreated Godkiller was skewered on his own quills, Pn’zo shocked by his own tendrils and Zzzxx separated from its host Raza. Nova Prime, Richard Rider, arrived in time to save his brother and took down Xenith using the psionic dampeners in his helmet to interrupt her psionically-reinforced powers. All Praetorians were arrested for war crimes and placed in stasis within the Nova Corp’s base, which was within Ego the Living Planet at the time. #1. When Ego began to regain consciousness the Novas transferred their prisoners to a new starship base. The symbiote Zzxz was handed over to the Shi’ar and the Starjammer Raza, its former host, took it into the Fault, a massive tear in space time, to destroy it. Ultimately the symbiote was integral in saving the Starjammers and the Imperial Guard from a massive alien threat, serving as an unwilling distraction. Realm of Kings: Imperial Guard #1-5. Other than Zzxz and the deceased Hodinn, the fate of the other Praetorians is unknown.
Presumably they are still prisoners.

Fictional character biography[edit]
Werner von Strucker is the oldest son of Baron Wolfgang von Strucker and the half-brother of twins Fenris (Andrea von Strucker and Andreas von Strucker).
Werner briefly takes over Hydra during one of his father's supposed deaths.[volume & issue needed] Later Wolfgang returns from the dead via the Death Spore virus.[volume & issue needed] Werner uses his influence to try to gain part of the territory of the Kingpin after he falls from power. The conference that would divide up the Kingpin's territory is set in Las Vegas.[1]
At first, Werner's forces detain two spies, who were in reality Microchip and Mickey Fondozzi, two associates of the Punisher. They claim to be Four and Eight, members of the organization called the Secret Empire, one of Werner's fellow conference attendees. Not wanting to risk a rift with the Empire, Werner thus declines to kill them. Via a spy, the Empire learns of the two prisoners. Coincidentally, the real Four and Eight had not shown up for the Kingpin division meeting. The Secret Empire becomes convinced that Four and Eight have turned traitor. They send Chainsaw and his Praetorians, a motorcycle gang, to attack the entire group.[2]
Werner survives the attack. He attends a later meeting of the criminal organizations, assisted by a brown-haired man. This assistant is really his father Baron Strucker. The meeting descends into violence, part of it resulting from Werner's siblings believing that he is not a worthy successor to their father. After the meeting breaks up, Baron Strucker slays Werner via the Death Spore virus and steps into power once again.[3] Werner's corpse is found by a super-powered vigilante named Terror. The vigilante steals one of Werner's eyes in order to gain information about the recent criminal meetings.[4]
In other media[edit]
- Werner von Strucker made an appearance in the 1998 film Nick Fury: Agent of Shield, played by Scott Heindl.
- Werner von Strucker appears throughout the third and fifth seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., portrayed by Spencer Treat Clark.[5] Following his father's death at the hands of Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Werner changes his name to Alexander Braun and uses his inheritance to host lavish parties. He is greeted by Grant Ward who convinces him to join Hydra and continue his father's legacy.[6] Strucker confronts Andrew Garner in order to kill him, but is unable to after Garner transforms into the Inhuman Lash and kills the Hydra operatives with him.[7] For his failure to kill Garner, Ward has Kebo beat Strucker until he is left in a comatose state.[8] Eventually S.H.I.E.L.D. acquires Strucker's body, whose condition had gone from comatose to vegetative, in order for Phil Coulson to use the Theta Brain-Wave Frequency Machine on him in order to get information regarding the location of Gideon Malick.[9] Strucker is kept in a mental hospital to recover while suffering the side-effects of the Brain-Wave Frequency Machine and once again using his 'Alexander Braun' alias. He is taken by General Hale and her daughter Ruby, both of whom he had known when he was younger, before the doctors can lobotomize him. There was a reference that Ruby once got injured the last time they interacted where Baron Strucker held Werner accountable and beat him up in front of them. Despite some reluctance to work with General Hale, Werner is convinced by Ruby to join their cause when he sees that General Hale is making use of one of his father's experiments in the form of Carl Creel lifting weights.[10] Strucker begins work on translating and rewriting his father's work for Hydra and is further motivated by Ruby so that she can become the 'Destroyer of Worlds.' Though there had been some delays as Strucker was never taught the German language by his father.[11] After completing his task of translating his father's notes, Strucker teams up with Ruby who overthrow Hale and go searching for the device to transform Ruby. They run into Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons and hold them at gunpoint to help fix the machine.[12] Afterwards, Ruby becomes infused with 8% of the Gravitonium (containing the remnants of Franklin Hall and Ian Quinn), but fails to control her new powers as she accidentally crushes Strucker's skull, killing him instantly.[13]
